Kingsville, Texas- The Texas A&M International A&M International University basketball team took on rival team Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas. The atmosphere was palpable as TAMIU took two fan buses full of Dustdevil fans to the game to cheer on the Men and Women in their last regular season game of the season. The Dustdevils entered the game 12-18 on the season and 7-14 in the conference. The Javelinas entered the game 11-16 and 7-14 in the conference. During the last meeting between the two teams, the Dustdevils emerged victorious at home with a 65-50 win.

The Dustdevils started off strong as they took the lead in the first half 35-33 heading into the locker room. History would soon repeat itself as the Dustdevils would outscore the Javelinas 40-37 in the 2
nd half to secure the victory.

The senior
Esteban Roacho had a stellar night as he finished with 27 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Dustdevils to the win.
Isaiah Somers (18) and
Elijah Bailey (11) also helped on the offensive end for the Dustdevils. TAMIU had six bench points. The lead during the game changed 13 times and the games was tied five times. The Dustdevils shot 46.9% from the field, 48.3% from three and 83.3% from the free throw line.
