Edmond, OK- The Texas A&M International Dustdevils took to Edmond to take on Oklahoma Christian University Eagles. TAMIU came into the contest 10-15 overall and 5-11 in the conference. The Eagles came into the game 7-15 overall and 4-13 in the Lone Star Conference. The Dustdevils needed this win in order to stay in conference tournament contention.

The Eagles started off hot and took advantage of home court as they took off to an early lead. The Eagles pushed ahead of the Dustdevils and went into the locker room with a five-point lead at 39-34. TAMIU would come out of locker room refocused and ready to bounce back. The Dustdevils ended up outscoring the Eagles 42-29 and secured the victory with a 76-68 win over the Eagles.

TAMIU shot an outstanding 49% from the field for the game on 49 attempts. The Dustdevils were 12-19 from three-point range and were 16-23 from the free throw line. The bench would contribute 37 points for TAMIU. It was a competitive affair as there were five lead changes and the game was tied six times throughout the evening. TAMIU was led by a strong performance by
Caylen Goff Brown who had 27 points, 1 steal, 1 assist and 2 rebounds on the evening. Esteban led the Dustdevils in rebounds with eight and also led in steals with three.
Elijah Bailey ran the floor for the Dustdevils and led with three assists for the Dustdevils.

The Dustdevils will be back in action Thursday against Dallas Baptist University at 7:00 PM CDT in Dallas.
