Tyler, Texas- The Texas A&M International Dustdevils went to take on the number one team in the nation and the reigning national champion in UT-Tyler. The Dustdevils entered the game after splitting double-headers this past weekend against MWSU and WTAM.

The first game was all Patriots as they would run rule the Dustdevils 8-0 in the first game. The Patriots would score eight runs off of 10 hits while the Dustdevils would record ten hits on the evening but could not convert any runs on the evening.
Kylie Goad would enter the circle for the Dustdevils in the first game.
Kristin Maldonado would record two hits for the Dustdevils.

Victoria Gonzalez and
Alana Garcia would all record hits in the first game for the Dustdevils. The second game was more competitive, but UT-Tyler would still walk away with a 5-3 home victory. The Patriots would start off strong, scoring five runs within two innings. However, they would enter a could streak as they were scoreless the rest of the game. TAMIU was able to record three runs in the top of the sixth but was unable to answer in the 7
th.
Victoria Gonzalez would record a hit which would result in three RBI's. Fredrick would pitch for the Dustdevils in the second game.

The Dustdevils move to 14-15 on the season and 6-10 in the conference. TAMIU will play Sunday against Texas Woman's University at 1:00 PM & 3:30 PM.
