Laredo, Texas- It was an exciting day for TAMIU softball as they took on their conference foe Cameron Aggies. The Dustdevils would sweep the Aggies after a momentous comeback in game two. With the win, the Dustdevils push over .500 now standing 19-18 overall and are 13-13 in the conference.

The Dustdevils won game one after answering back to the Aggies two runs in the top of the third with four runs of their own in the bottom of the third.
Kylie Goad would walk away with the win after being in the circle for the Dustdevils. Goad would pitch the entire game and help put away the Aggies.
Victoria Gonzalez would homer bringing in two runs on the evening.
Isabella Perez and
Alana Garcia would each record an RBI on the evening. The rest of the game was scoreless as the Dustdevils held off the Aggies in game one.

The Dustdevils made a historic comeback against the Aggies in game two. It was a team effort as the Dustdevils won 10-9 over Cameron in game two.
Madison Taylor Gray and
Nevaeh Herrera would enter the circle in game two for the Dustdevils. The Aggies started off hot, scoring two runs in the first inning and four in the third. It was a team effort as three Dustdevils got on base, Brigham, Saldivar and Loyola. This brought up
Victoria Espinoza who hit a grand slam to bring the Dustdevils within one of the Aggies. The Aggies would not go away quietly as they recorded three runs of their own in the top of the fifth. The Aggies were up 9-5 in the bottom of the 7
th. The bases were loaded as Brigham and Rodriguez had just scored for the Dustdevils to make the score 8-9 Cameron.
Kennedy Griego would go up to bat for the Dustdevils. The Dustdevil comeback would prove successful as a clutch single from Griego and clutch baserunning from Espinoza would seal the deal for the Dustdevils. The Dustdevils finished the day with 17 hits and an impressive 14 runs on the evening.
