Laredo, TX- Sunday evening the TAMIU Dustdevils Softball team took on the ranked Oklahoma Christian Eagles. The Dustdevils were just coming off of a huge outing against the Cameron Aggies and the Dustdevils planned on keeping that momentum going against a tough Lone Star Conference foe in the OCU Eagles.
 
Fredrick and Ramirez would take the circle in the first game for the Dustdevils. The Eagles would get on the board first with two runs in the fourth inning and one in the fifth. The Dustdevils would record three hits but were not able to get on the board as the Eagles would take game one 3-0. In the second game, Kylie Goad would take the circle for the Dustdevils. The Dustdevils would be stellar on the field and had seven hits in the game compared to OCU's three but could not drive a run across home plate. OCU would finish the game with a run in the top of the sixth in which TAMIU could not answer.
 
TAMIU moves to 19-21 on the year and will face TAMUK on the 4^th and 6^th of this week.
