2015-16:
Alvarez competed in 27 games, racking up 39 points. Alvarez hauled in 27 rebounds and was a member of the Heartland Conference President's Honor Roll. 

2013-15: City College of San Francisco
Alvarez started her collegiate athletic career playing for City College of San Francisco for (1) season. In that season, she earned Second Team All-Conference honors. During her time at City College of San Francisco, Alvarez received an Associate of Arts in Social & Behavioral sciences and and Associate of Arts in Arts & Humanities

High School: Verrado High School (Class of 2012)
At Verrado, Alvarez lettered in Basketball for (4) years as a Guard. Alvarez earned the honors of MVP, First Team All-League, First Team All-Tournament, Second Team All-Region, Scholar-Athletic Award, Most Spirited Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and pushed her team to become Region Champions. She also lettered for (2) years in Track and Field, throwing shotput and running relay.
 
Club Basketball: Warriors
Competed for the Warriors in Phoenix, Arizona for (2) seasons. During these seasons, her team was honored as the Tournament Champions.

Personal:
Alvarez is the daughter of Brandi and Edward Alvarez. She is a sister to Anaka and Joselynne. Alvarez chose to attend TAMIU because she connected to the coaches and enjoys playing for them. Her most inspirational figure is her family. Her future aspirations are to complete her Bachelors degree, and attend Law School, then continue on to become a Civil Rights lawyer. In her spare time, she likes to enjoy the company of her family and friends.
