HIGH SCHOOL:
Alfaro graduated from United High School and played for four years under Coach T. Robert Melendez. At UHS, he took home the 2017 District 29-6A District Championship and was a 2015 All-City honoree. Alfaro was solid in many regional and state championships and competed in the 2016 U.S. Kid's Teen World Championship at Pinehurst.

PERSONAL:
Alfaro is the son of Lorena and Joel Alfaro Sr., and has six siblings. He is majoring in kinesiology.
