2021:
Appeared in 29 games making 27 starts she averaged .330 in 94 at-bats. She made 31 hits, making nine doubles and four home runs, with 15 RBI. 

2020:
Ruiz started all 21 games for the Dustdevils and hit .232 on the season with four runs, one double, one home run and finished second on the team in RBI with 11. She drove in three runs in a game twice (New Mexico Highlands 2/14/20 and Ouachita Baptist 2/15/20).

2019 Heartland Conference All-Tournament Team

2019:
In her freshman season, Ruiz batted .287/.382/.319...In the 2019 Heartland Conference Softball Championship, she batted .416 (5-for-12) and tallied at least one hit through the four games...In the Dustdevils' second game against Lubbock Christian on May 3rd, she smacked a clutch two-RBI double to tie the game at six apiece while the Dustdevils were down to their final out of the season...Ruiz was tabbed to the Heartland Conference All-Tournament Team.

High School:
Played softball at Eagle Pass High School under coach Oscar Ruiz and played volleyball...She is a two-time All-District 29-6A first-team selection...She also won back-to-back District 29-6A Softball Co-Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards in 2017 and 2018.
 
Personal:
Ruiz is the daughter of Patricia and Willie Ruiz. She has two older sisters, Kimberly and Celeste, as well as a younger sister, Kiceli. Ruiz is majoring in kinesiology with a minor in psychology.
