Appeared in 17 games for the Dustdevils and made 17 starts. She made three goals, contributed two assists, and played a total of 1541 minutes on the year.
 
2021 (Spring): 
Appeared in eight games for the Dustdevils and made eight starts. She made two goals, contributed one assist, and played a total of 736 minutes on the year.

2019:
Macias appeared in and started one game for the Dustdevils.

2018:
Macias recorded a team-high three assists for the Dustdevils. She tallied a goal and an assist in a 4-0 victory at Oklahoma Christian on Sept. 27.

2017:
Macias had an impressive first season in Laredo as she started in all 17 matches logging 1,461 minutes scoring a goal while registering the second most assists on the team with three. Her five points also ranked her second on the team as did her 31 shots. She recorded her first goal against St. Mary’s on Sept. 5 while picking up her first assist in the next match Eastern New Mexico. She recorded a season-high seven shots in the Dustdevils 5-3 win over Delta State on opening day. She recorded three or more shots in five matches during the season. 

Prior to TAMIU:
Macias appeared in four games for the Texas State Bobcats where she totaled 45 minutes of action. Played a season-high 19 minutes against Northwestern State on Sept. 11.
 
High School:
Was considered one of the best high school players in Laredo during her four-year career as she was named the Laredo Morning Times Offensive Player of the Year three times. She also earned First Team All-District honors as a freshman in 2012.
 
Personal:
Valeria is the daughter of Jose and Maria Macias and has four siblings, Mariela, Jose, Tania and Jovany. She chose to attend TAMIU because she wanted to represent her hometown of Laredo. Cristiano Ronaldo is her inspirational figure. She hopes to pursue a Master’s Degree in Business Management and get a good job after finishing her eligibility. She enjoys watching Netflix and hanging out with friends and family.
