2021: 
Competed in one match in the fall, placing in the top 50 with a +14 (230).  

2020: 
Staykov competed in nine events, the Farmer's Insurance Samuel Proal Invitational being his best where he tied for second place. He had rounds of 67, 69, and 70 along with 12 birdies.   

2019-20:
In a shortened season, Staykov competed in six events and racked up three Top 30 finishes. His season best performance came at the Lewis Flyer Intercollegiate, where he finished 18th and turned in a card of 153 (+9).

HIGH SCHOOL:
Staykov graduated from 9th French High School Alphonse de LaMartine. He was top-ranked Bulgarian Junior. He won the Greek Junior Open as well as the Cyprus Junior Tournament. He also had a Top 5 finish at the Honda Junior Classic. Staykov was also a member of the Bulgarian National Team.

PERSONAL:
Staykov is the son of Malina Staykova and Borislav Staykov, and has one brother. He is majoring in finance.
