2022: 
Alfonzo played in 38 games as a junior where he recorded a .238 average. 

Prior to TAMIU:
A product of Tampa, Fla., Leeandro Alfonzo joins the Dustdevils from South Florida State College. At SFSC, he was named Third Team All-Conference. Leeandro is a veteran proven starter from one of the toughest junior college conferences in the country in the Suncoast Conference of Region VIII. He has been an every day starter his entire career and showed consistency during his entire time in junior college.

High School:
Alfonzo attended Wharton High School where he was a four-year letter winner in baseball. He had a .396 average and is the only player is school history to go 5-5 in a single game. 

Personal: 
Alfonzo is the son of Sharon and Edgar Alfonzo. He has one sibling, an older brother Giovanny. Alfonzo will be pursuing a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies.
