Brock Moss

Moss joined the Dustdevils in November 2020, and brings with him nearly a decade of collegiate coaching experience.

Moss comes to TAMIU after four successful seasons at Georgia Highlands College. At GHC, he managed the pitching staff, as well as overseeing all recruiting efforts. In his time with the Chargers, Moss helped guide the program to its first 40-win season, as well as its first Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) title and first NJCAA Tournament berth. The Chargers averaged 34 wins a season over his four years, and were nationally ranked three out of four years with two trips to the NJCAA Tournament.

Not only did GHC see team success under Moss, they racked up several individual honors as well. Moss coached two picks in the 2018 MLB First Year Player Draft, an NJCAA All-American, GCAA Player of the Year, nine All-GCAA selections and two NJCAA Gold Glove selections. His pitching staffs rewrote the record book, setting marks in wins, saves, innings pitched, complete games, shutouts, ERA, WHIP, walks allowed and home runs allowed. His teams were equally as successful in the classroom with multiple NJCAA Academic All-Americans and three NJCAA Academic Team of the Year awards.

Moss' accomplishments don't just stop with coaching though, he is an equally skilled recruiter. At GHC, he consistently brought in Top 30 nationally ranked classes, including the 2019 class which was ranked third nationally by Perfect Game. In 2018, his recruiting class featured 12 of Top 250 Perfect Game players from the state of Georgia, with the entire class ranked 24th nationally as a whole.

Prior to GHC, Moss also spent time as the associate head coach at Andrew College and as pitching coach at Ecclesia College.

He also has four years of experience as the head coach of various summer collegiate league teams across the country.

Moss played for three years at Sterling College. While there, he led his team to the program's first NAIA World Series appearance in 2013 and back-to-back Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference titles. All told, Moss led his team to 93 wins in his three years at Sterling College. He began his collegiate career with one year at Morton College.

Moss earned a bachelor's degree in sports management from Sterling College and a master's degree in education with a concentration in coaching from Greenville University.
