White comes to TAMIU after serving as the Head Coach for the 2022 Prospect League Champion, Chillicothe Paints. The Paints ranked in the top five in every statistical category (1st in fielding percentage, 4th in ERA, 5th in Batting Average). White's pitching staff lead the league with the fewest number of walks as well. White had the pleasure of coaching three Prospect League All-Stars.
Previously white served as an assistant under Head Coach Jeff Willis at perennial powerhouse LSU-Eunice. White worked with the pitchers and assisted with all day-to-day activities of the Bengal program.
In the summer of 2021 White took over as the pitching coach for the Chillicothe Paints.
Under White, the Paints were tops in the Prospects League in complete games, while ranking third in both total strikeouts and WHIP, and 5th in earned run average. White helped mentor Ruben Ramirez, who would sign a free agent deal with the Kansas City Royals following the completion of the Paints' playoff run.
Prior to his time with Chillicothe, White served as an assistant coach at Union College and Volunteer State Community College where he was the Recruiting Coordinator and Pitching Coach
The Carmel, Indiana native played under legendary coach Woody Hunt at Cumberland University (Lebanon, Tenn.) from 2013-2018. During his playing career with the Phoenix, White was part of the 2014 NAIA National Championship team that went 49-20 during the season. The left-handed pitcher would later help Cumberland to the 2018 NAIA Regional Tournament.
He would serve as a graduate assistant coach at Cumberland for the 2019 campaign.
White holds a bachelor's degree from Cumberland University in Sports and Exercise Science and a Masters in Sports Management from Cumberland University.
