Mikey Bielamowicz

Mikey Bielamowicz joined the Dustdevils as an assistant coach in September of 2019.

Bielamowicz comes to TAMIU after two seasons at fellow Lone Star Conference school Texas A&M-Kingsville. With the Javelinas, he served as the first base coach and worked with catchers and infielders. In 2019, Bielamowicz helped TAMUK to a 30-20 record with a 13-11 mark in conference play. In his first season in Kingsville, he helped coach the Javelinas to a 42-win season and a NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championship as well as a berth in the 2018 NCAA Division II College World Series.

Before coaching at Texas A&M-Kingsville, Bielamowicz spent a season at Northeast Mississippi Community College. He began his coaching career in 2016 with the Palo Duro Dillas in the Great Southwest Collegiate League.

As a player, Bielamowicz played four years at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor as a pitcher and a catcher. He was a three-time American Southwest Conference All-Academic Team selection and received his bachelor's degree in exercise and sport science with a minor in pedagogy. He earned a master's degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Bielamowicz is a native of Groesbeck, Texas.
