Before coming to TAMIU Juan played with the Glenville Pioneers of West Virginia wining 2023 Freshman of The Year, 2023 First Team All-Conference 2023, 2nd place MVP Conference List all while averaging 74.5. 

High School:
Juan played four years of baseball at Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta,Georgia. As a Raider he averaged a 76.4 , winning First Team All-School , and lead his team to the second state championship appearence ever.
