2020:
Martinez made eight appearances in the circle for the Dustdevils, starting one game. She threw 9.1 innings with a record of 1-1, a 2.25 ERA and struck out six batters.

2019: 
In the circle, Martinez started in two games and entered in relief in 10 games...Finished the season with an ERA of 3.94 while tallying seven strikeouts over 32 innings...On February 2, Martinez shut down Washburn as she threw 4.1 innings without surrendering a hit in relief in an 8-5 win...In the opening game of the 2019 Heartland Conference Softball Championship, she pitched 3.2 innings and only gave up one hit and tied her season high in strikeouts with two against Lubbock Christian.     

2018:
Martinez made three appearances in the circle for the Dustdevils tossing 3.0 innings of relief with an ERA of 4.67. She allowed two runs (two earned) on four hits with one strikeout. Made her collegiate debut tossing 2/3 innings against nationally ranked Angelo State on Feb. 9 allowing one hit. 

High School:
Graduated in the Top 10% of her class at Rio Hondo High School in Rio Hondo, Texas. She was a 3-time 1^st team all-district pitcher while earning 2^nd team honors as a freshman. She was also successful in the classroom earning all-academic recognition four times.
 
Personal:
Martinez is the daughter of Juan and Maria Martinez. She has an older brother, Emilio. Martinez is majoring in psychology and criminal justice.
