2021:
Fernandez appeared in and started all 29 games for TAMIU. She was second on the team with 10.4 ppg and 51.5% shooting from the floor. Fernandez was the team leader with 5.7 rpg, 38.5% shooting from three and had 69 steals. She earned an LSC Defensive Player of the Week award, having 15 steals in a two-game stretch, and was named Honorable Mention All-LSC.

2020:
Fernandez appeared in all 16 games for the Dustdevils, making 11 starts. She averaged eight points, two assists, and three rebounds per game. She averaged 51.5% from the field and 26.5% from the three point. 

2019:
Fernandez appeared in all 28 games for the Dustdevils, making 14 starts. Averaged five points and four rebounds per game. Shot 42.9% from the field and a team best 40.4% from three point. Set season high in points (12), versus Cameron and Midwestern State in back-to-back contests on January 30 and February 1. Also recorded her first collegiate double-double against Midwestern State on February 1, adding 11 rebounds.

High School:
Fernandez attended Santa Maria Marianistas. Some of Fernandez recognitions are Basque Country Championship, National Spanish Team 2016, and Regional Team from 2013-2019.

Personal:
Fernandez is the daughter of Pablo and Lucia Fernandez. She has three younger siblings Gorka, Ana, and Ines. Fernandez will be pursuing a major in Chemistry.
