Catrina Green joined the Dustdevils as an assistant coach in September 2020.
Most recently, Green was an assistant at the University of South Carolina-Upstate in Division I’s Big South Conference. Prior to USCU, Green spent a season at Lincoln Memorial University in 2018 where she helped guide the Railtoppers to a 16-14 record and a trip to the South Atlantic Conference Tournament Semifinal.

She began her collegiate coaching career in 2015 at the University of Illinois-Springfield.
Green’s passion for coaching began after college as an AAU volunteer in her hometown of Greensboro, N.C.
During her time as a coach, Green has had the opportunity to implement various community service opportunities. This excites Green as it is one of Vogel’s three pillars of the Dustdevil women’s basketball program.
Prior to her first coaching stint, Green played professionally for Club Uniao Sportiva in Portugal and then again before her time at LMU for Club SB Bergisch Lowen in Germany.
Green attended Gardner-Webb University where she left her mark on the women’s basketball record book. Green became the first player (men’s or women’s) in Bulldog history to finish a career having 1,000+ points and 1,000+ rebounds. She still holds two career records, rebounds (1,012) and offensive rebounds (463), as well as four single-season records.
Green graduated from Gardner-Webb with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and is currently working to obtain her Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Western Carolina University.
