John Achebe enters his second season as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Texas A&M International University. Originally from Wylie, Texas, Achebe brings valuable playing experience and a strong competitive background to the Dustdevil program.

He began his collegiate career at Collin College, where he played for three seasons and earned First Team All-Conference and All-Region honors. Achebe then transferred to TAMIU, competing for two seasons and earning Second Team All-Conference and All-Defensive Team recognition.

Achebe now uses his on-court experience and leadership to mentor and develop TAMIU student-athletes, contributing to the team’s success both on and off the court.
