Samantha Toney (Sammy), from Delaware, Ohio, is a freshman majoring in Systems Engineering.

Sammy attended Rutherford B. Hayes High School in Delaware, Ohio. She lettered for three years in Women's Basketball and Track and field, specializing in Shotput and Discus. Her athletic achievements are a testament to her dedication, earning her spots on the All-Conference Team, All-District Team, and All-County Team in Women's Basketball. Notably, she was also an Offensive MVP, Team Captain, and an All-Conference and All-District Scholar Athlete. Sammy excelled academically as well, being recognized as an OHSAA Scholar Athlete. In Track & Field, she received honors such as All-District, All-County, and All-Conference titles, further showcasing her all-around athletic abilities.

Outside of her athletic and academic pursuits, Sammy enjoys video games, reading, and has a deep love for all things Disney.
