Parker Holekamp is resuming his role as the coaching assistant after a successful stint in the same position during the 2021-2022 season. His return underscores his commitment to the university and its golf program's continued success.

Parker's golf journey began at an early age, and his skills flourished during his collegiate years at TAMIU, where he played golf from 2016-2021. A remarkable fusion of academic and athletic excellence marked Parker Holekamp's collegiate journey. He qualified and participated in the United States Amateur Championship in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, he earned the prestigious title of GCAA Academic All-American, a testament to his unwavering dedication to academics and athletics. Parker's talents shone brightly on the golf course as he was named a First Team All-Conference player in 2019, representing the Heartland Conference. His golfing prowess was noticed, and he was further recognized with the honor of the 2019 STPGA Amateur of the Year. Parker continued to make his mark in 2020 when he achieved Second Team All-Conference status in the Lone Star Conference, showcasing his consistent performance. His outstanding abilities were validated with placements on the 2020 GCAA PING All-South Central Region and GCAA PING All-American Honorable Mention lists, further solidifying his reputation as a top-tier collegiate golfer. Concluding his collegiate career with another remarkable achievement, as a First Team All-Lone Star Conference player in 2021 and being named to the 2021 GCAA PING All-South Central Region and GCAA PING All-American Honorable Mention lists.

Parker Holekamp's impressive athletic journey and passion for golf will undoubtedly contribute to the ongoing growth and success of TAMIU's golf program. His return is eagerly anticipated by the coaching staff and the student-athletes he will mentor.
