Angel “Hacha” Robles begins his first season as an assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s soccer programs in 2017. Prior to returning to Laredo, Robles spent a year playing professional soccer in Bulgaria and Ukraine.
 
Robles returns to TAMIU where he played from 2011-15 making 56 appearances under head coach Claudio Arias. He had his best season in 2014 where he started 10 matches for the Dustdevils scoring a goal and assist in 745 minutes on the pitch.
 
The El Paso, Texas native graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from TAMIU in 2016.
