Carlos Ordaz enters his first season as an associate coach for TAMIU Women’s Soccer in 2025. Ordaz brings over 20 years of experience as a player, coach, and program leader in both Mexico and the United States. He enjoyed a professional playing career with Liga MX clubs Atlante and Chiapas and competed for several seasons with Laredo Heat SC in the USL/PDL.
Ordaz’s coaching background spans youth, academy, and professional environments, including leadership roles with YMCA Arsenal Rome, IAFC, and Atlanta United FC’s youth academy, as well as experience with Club Necaxa and Club América in Mexico. He holds multiple elite certifications, including a U.S. Soccer B License, UEFA C License, and FEMEXFUT “A” Pro License, and also earned an MBA in Communications from UANL.
Known for his player-first philosophy, Ordaz is committed to developing well-rounded student-athletes who excel both on the field and beyond.
