In her Senior season Garza played in 16 games, starting 10 of those. Rubi played 1,072 minutes and had (1) shot.

2014:
In her first season with the Dustdevils Garza appeared in 16 games. Rubi started (5) of those games. She finished with (1) assist and (2) shots on goal.

2012-2014: North Lake College
Garza started her collegiate career at North Lake College in Irving, Texas. Rubi played soccer for (2) seasons. She was recognized as an All-American and was named Defensive Player of the Year. During her time at North Lake Rubi earned Associates Degree.

High School: MacArthur High School (Class of 2011)
Rubi lettered in soccer and basketball for (2) years. As a Junior the MacArthur Soccer program won the All-District Championship. In her Senior year Garza was named MVP.

Personal:
Rubi is the daughter of Maria Lopez and Jose Quintana. She has three siblings, Ricky Lopez, Joselyn Quintana, and Leslie Quintana. She chose TAMIU because she felt welcomed by the campus community. Her role models are her parents. After TAMIU Rubi wants to pursue a Master's Degree while becoming a member of the Army National Guard. In her spare time Rubi enjoys hanging out with family, playing soccer and volleyball, and going to church.
