Sanchez played volleyball from Fall 2015 to Spring 2016. She made the Dean's List during her time there.

High School: United High School (Class of 2016)
Sanchez played volleyball, softball, and basketball. She was positioned as an outside hitter and setter in volleyball, 1st baseman and pitcher in softball, and foward in basketball. In volleyball, she earned All-District First Team in Volleyball (2012-2013) along with being part of the Bi-District Championship Team. In softball, she earned most outstanding first base for the (2012 & 2013) season and Most Outstanding Hitter in (2013).

Personal: Alexandra Sanchez is the daughter of Adriana I. and David G. Sanchez as she is joined by her lone brother David. She decided to stay in Laredo and attend TAMIU because it was close to home. Her most inspirational figures are her parents. Her aspirations and goals are to become a high school english teacher and a volleyball/softball coach. Her favorite athletes are Destinee Hooker, who represents the United States in volleyball, and Sierra Romero, former collegiate (4X) All-American. In her spare time, Sanchez enjoys singing.
