Tammie Jimenez

Tammie Jimenez is entering her second season at the helm of the TAMIU Volleyball program. In her first year leading the Dustdevils, she guided the team to a 9-16 overall record, including a 6-10 mark in Lone Star Conference play.

Jimenez brought a wealth of experience to TAMIU, having launched her collegiate coaching career at Midland College in 2007. After three seasons as a full-time assistant, she was named head coach in 2010. She led Midland to a berth in the NJCAA Region 5 West Championship and helped her team earn a coveted spot in the 2010 NJCAA Division I Volleyball Championship tournament.

A native of Alpine, Texas, Jimenez earned her Bachelor of Information Systems Management from St. Mary's University in San Antonio in 2003, followed by a Master of Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix in 2008. Her educational background, combined with her coaching experience, reflects her dedication to developing well-rounded student-athletes both academically and athletically.
