2022: 
Garcia played in 30 matches, starting 29 where she played in 104 sets. She finished with 190.5 points with 128 kills. She added seven assists and 20 aces. She recorded 65 digs, and 72 blocks. 

Prior to TAMIU:
A native of Brownsville, Texas, Jones will come to TAMIU after beginning her collegiate career at Ranger College. While at Ranger, Garcia was named First Team All-Conference, ending the season third in the conference in blocking.

High School:
Garcia is a high school graduate of Los Fresnos High School, when she was First Team All-Conference, All-Metro MVP and second in the nation for blocking in 2019-20.

Personal: 
Jasmin is daughter to Jessica and Marco Garcia. She has four siblings, Andrea, Madeline, Allison, and Jackson. She is pursuing her Bachelors in Kinesiology with and emphasis in health and fitness.
