2012-2013: University of the Incarnate Word
Ruiz started her collegiate career at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. Ruiz played for (2) seasons.

High School: Antonian College Preparatory High School (Class of 2012) 
Ruiz graduated from Antonian High School in San Antonio, Texas. Jordan lettered in basketball for (2) years and volleyball for (4) years. She was named 2nd Team All-District. The Apache's were District Champions and made the Texas State Volleyball Tournament, where the team made it to the Final Four. Ruiz was named to the All-State Tournament Team. 
 
Personal:
Jordan is the Daughter of Penny Smart and Lupe Ruiz. She has three siblings, Cheyenne Ruiz, Rhyann Smart, and John Smart.. Her inspiration comes from her Father and Grandpa. Ruiz chose TAMIU for the Business School. After TAMIU Jordan wants to be a Sports Attorney and play professional volleyball in Europe.
