2023: 
In the 2023 season, Lixai Perez played in a total of 24 matches. She accumulated 411 points, averaging 17.1 digs per match and recorded two kills. Additionally, she contributed 20 service aces.

2022: 
During the 2022 season, Lixai Perez played in a total of 24 matches, where she achieved 511 points. She averaged 21.3 digs per match and recorded 3 kills. Additionally, she contributed 19 service aces. 

Prior to TAMIU:
Lixai Perez transferred from Blinn College, where she was recognized as Libero of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference honors. During her time at Blinn, she showcased exceptional defensive skills and was a key contributor to her team's success.

High School: 
Lixai Perez attended Academia Discípulos de Cristo, graduating in 2020 from Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She played volleyball during the 2019-2020 season under the guidance of Head Coach Julio Meléndez. Notably, she was a member of the team that won the 2015 AAU Volleyball Open Championship.

Personal:
Lixai Perez was born on November 5, 2002, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She is currently a senior majoring in Biology. Lixai is the daughter of Félix R. Pérez Rivera and Aileen Vélez Dueño, both of whom work in public service. She has one brother, Félix M. Pérez Vélez, who is 18 years old. In her free time, Lixai enjoys playing volleyball, reading, and studying physical therapy. During the summer, she works as a volleyball coach.
