Andres Herrera is in his first year as a coach at Texas A&M International University, bringing both playing and coaching experience to the program.
Before joining TAMIU, he spent three years as an assistant coach at St. Augustine High School. As a student-athlete at TAMIU, Herrera appeared in 54 matches, starting 43, logging over 3,600 minutes, and contributing three assists.
His playing career highlights include winning the USL 2 Lonestar Conference with Corpus Christi FC and competing in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Herrera holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and multiple U.S. Soccer Federation coaching certifications.
