Jenesis Medina serves as the Athletic Facilities Coordinator and Game Day Administrator for Texas A&M International University Athletics. In this role, she oversees the day-to-day operations and game day logistics of multiple athletic venues, supporting NCAA Division II competition within the Lone Star Conference. She coordinates facility readiness, equipment, staffing, and event execution to help ensure a safe, efficient, and professional environment for student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.
Medina works collaboratively across departments at Texas A&M International University and with external partners to maintain facility standards and support successful athletic operations. Prior to her role in collegiate athletics, she gained experience in facilities operations within a healthcare environment, where she learned how the condition and readiness of a facility can directly influence outcomes and overall patient experience. She brings that same high standard to TAMIU Athletics with a focus on meeting student-athlete needs and creating a positive experience for all who use its facilities.
Her background in fine arts and design informs her approach to facility presentation and the overall game day environment, helping create spaces that are both functional and welcoming. Medina is currently pursuing her Master of Public Administration.
A Laredo, Texas native, Medina is committed to creating athletic environments where student-athletes feel supported, prepared, and valued. She believes that behind every successful event or well-maintained facility is an opportunity to positively impact the people they serve.
