LUBBOCK, Texas (October 17, 2015) -- The TAMIU Volleyball team concluded their final conference road trip of the season by matching up against Lubbock Christian on Saturday afternoon. The Chaps over-powered the Dustdevils and took the final, 0-3. (18-25, 17-25, 19-25)
Though the Dustdevils took the Chaps to 5 sets in Laredo on September 10, LCU used their home court advantage to seal the win this time. The first set started in the Chap's favor, and the momentum rolled through all three sets, leaving the Dustdevils blank.
Senior Madison Morris lead the team with 13 kills, while Freshman Ramey Gardner followed behind with 10. Senior Lizzie Prieto notched 34 assists, while Junior Libero Cassandra Hernandez totaled 15 digs.
The Dustdevils will look to capture the remainder of their conference wins at home. Up next, TAMIU will host Dallas Baptist on Thursday, October 22. The action begins at 7pm in the TAMIU KCB.
