LAREDO, Texas (October 22, 2015) -- The TAMIU Men's Soccer team played their last non-Conference match up against Midwestern State on Thursday night at Dustdevil Field. The Dustdevils took a 1-4 loss to the #3 Mustangs.

In the first half, the Dustdevils looked to tame the Mustangs. A MSU goal in the 11th minute held for a 0-1 score at the half.

Second half action started with the Dustdevils rallying for an equalizer in the 49th minute. Freshman Connor Hogg connected with the ball just infront of the Mustangs net during a scrum, putting TAMIU on the board, 1-1.

As the second half continued, rough play, cautions and ejections started to arise. The Dustdevils fought back, but the No. 3 Mustangs tallied three unanswered goals in the 68th, 81st, and 84th minutes. In total, 11 cautions and 1 ejection were recorded for the match.

Next up, the Dustdevils will play their final regular season home match on Saturday, October 24th at 12pm against Newman. TAMIU will thank their seniors for their 4 years of commitment and excellence during a half-time ceremony.
