LUBBOCK, Texas (October 3rd, 2015) -- The TAMIU Women's Soccer team was left scoreless in their second Heartland Conference contest against Lubbock Christian, 0-4, on Saturday afternoon.
LCU took control of the first half, netting their first two goals in the 21st and 28th minutes. In the 31st minute, TAMIU fell victim to an "own-goal", which gave the Chaps a 3 goal advantage.
In the second half, LCU finalized their win with a fourth goal in the 52nd minute. Dustdevils Senior Goalkeeper Chelsea Knaack made 7 total saves in the contest.
The Dustdevils will travel to Austin, Texas on Thursday, October 8th to play their last non-conference match up of the season against St. Edward's. They will return home to Dustdevil Field on Sunday, October 11th for their Domestic Violence Awareness match against St. Mary's at 2pm.
