SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Texas A&M International University Dustdevils (7-9) concluded the Rattler Invitational on Sunday afternoon, winning both games against the Texas A&M University-Commerce Lions (11-7) and the St. Mary's University Rattlers (15-3), while achieving three all-tournament team players (Chelsea Capello, OF; Brittany Mussett, UT; Sarah Johsnon, UT) throughout the weekend.

GAME ONE: Texas A&M International 4, Texas A&M University-Commerce 3

After being down by one run in the bottom of the 7th inning, freshman Alyssa Soneff slammed a homer to tie up the game at three. TAMIU just needed one more run to take the lead and finish the game with their second win against TAM-Commerce this season.

Shortly after the homerun to tie the game, junior Chelsea Capello reached first base on a fielder's choice. Next up, sophomore Brenda Parnin came up to bat and singled to right center, putting Capello in scoring position at second base. With two outs, and the pressure on full throttle, as sophomore Brittany Mussett came up to the plate, pulling through and hitting a single to left field, scoring Capello at the plate for the winning run.

Mussett went 2-3 against TAM-Commerce. She had one RBI and one hit on the afternoon.
