WICHITA FALLS, Texas (September 18, 2015) -- The Texas A&M International Men's Soccer team traveled to play #5 Midwestern State, which resulted in a 0-1 loss, on Friday night.
A relatively calm first half kept the Dustdevils and the Mustangs tied through 45 minutes. Two yellow cards were administered - one to the Mustangs, and one to the Dustdevils' Michael Iskander. TAMIU had 6 shots on net, and Keeper Miguel Lucio tallied 4 saves.
In the second half, two cautions were given against the Dustdevils following a Midwestern State goal in the 58th minute. Even with their aggressive play, TAMIU could not produce the equalizer, taking the loss 0-1.,Lucio finished the game with 8 saves.
The Dustdevils will continue on the road this weekend with a stop in San Antonio to play St. Mary's on Sunday, September 19th. They will return home on Saturday, October 10th for their Domestic Violence Awareness game - which starts at 6pm at Dustdevil Field.
