Rosebrooke Hunt picked up seven rebounds and five points in the final 20 minutes. Beede added six points and four rebounds, picking up her fourth double-double of the season.
Head Coach
Jeff Caha commented after the game, "We came out and played our most solid half of the year. We moved the ball, we guarded, dove on the floor, we had great effort. Unfortunately, we followed that with our worst half of the year. We became selfish and unwilling to sell out for a loose ball, make the extra effort to block out and get a rebound, and refused to help each other on offense. Until we figure out that we thrive on energy and teamwork and must have it to succeed, we will continue to drop games."
The Dustdevils will head east for their next set of games. TAMIU will take part in the Eckerd College Tournament in St. Petersburg, Florida. Action begins on Friday, November 25. Tip-off is set for 2pm CST.
