Hannah Beede led all Dustdevils through 20 minutes with nine points.
Tampa would push the lead in the second half, outscoring the Dustdevils 5-16, 12-22 in consecutive quarters.
Head Coach
Jeff Caha commented after the game, "We are just not a very good basketball team right now. We refuse to apply what has been taught and repeated in practice and choose to do our own thing, which after 7-10 losses you would think a team might try something different. It's pretty simple from here, try to get better and compete or stay selfish and be apart of an 0-26 squad.
TAMIU returns to action on Monday, December 5. The Dustdevils travel to Edmond, Oklahoma to take on the University of Central Oklahoma. Tip-off is set for 5:30 pm CST.
