LAREDO, Texas (October 27, 2017) – Cio Bargallo broke another record as the Texas A&M International University women's soccer team ended the 2017 season with a 1-0 loss to Heartland Conference regular season champions Dallas Baptist on Senior Day on Saturday. The loss drops the Dustdevils to 3-12-2 and 2-11 in Heartland Conference play while DBU improves to 13-3-2 (11-1-2).

The Dustdevils recorded seven shots on the afternoon with Bargallo recording a match-high five shots for the Dustdevils bringing her season total to 67 to break her own school for most shots in a single season.
Valeria Macias had the other two shots while
Elaine Salazar (0-4-0) made a career-high 10 saves.

TAMIU had their best offensive sequence start at 15:51 with Bargallo registering her first shot of the match. Just 40 seconds later,
Valeria Macias put one on-target but DBU's Hope Hoym was in the right spot to make a save. Bargall had arguably the best chance of the match for the Dustdevils at 17:35 on a shot from distance but Hoym tipped the ball over the cross bar for a corner kick.

DBU would score the lone goal of the match at 67:56 on a shot from distance from Leah Draper. Bargallo recorded the Dustdevils final shot of the match at 74:37 breaking her own school record for most shots in a single season.Â
