Appeared in five matches as a goalkeeper with four starts with a record of 0-4-0. She made 18 saves while allowing 12 goals for a save percentage of .600. Had a career-best 10 saves in the season finale against Dallas Baptist. Allowed a career-best one goal in both matches against DBU. 

Transfer: Jarvis Christian College
Started in 18 games in goal for Jarvis Christian College in 2016 where she played 1640 minutes. She finished the season with 129 saves for a .662 save percentage.
 
High School: Gladys Porter High School
Finished her career earning 1^st Team All-District honors as a goalkddper during her junior and senior season. She also earned 2^nd Team All-District honors during her sophomore season in 2012.
 
Personal:
Elaine is the daughter of Juan and Rosa Salazar and has three siblings, Edith, Victor and Tadeo. She chose to attend TAMIU because it is a university that makes her feel welcome and has a great environment. Her parents are the most inspirational figure in her life. She enjoys spending time with her family during her free time including making cookouts and just having a blast. She also likes to hang out with friends.
