LUBBOCK, Texas (October 28, 2017) - The Texas A&M International University Volleyball team played their final regular season road game on Saturday. TAMIU took on Lubbock Christian University, falling 0-3.
The 0-3 loss (19-25, 13-25, 24-26) moves the Dustdevils overall record to 2-21 and 0-9 in Heartland Conference play.
SET 1: TAMIU 19 - LCU 25
The Dustdevils opened the firsts set with a 9-5 lead before the Lady Chaps went on a seven point run, giving LCU the 12-9 advantage. The Dustdevils would not regain the lead through the remainder of the set, bringing the set to two points at its closest.
SET 2: TAMIU 13 - LCU 25
A hot Lady Chap start spoiled the Dustdevils second set as LCU took an early 12-6 lead. The Dustdevils fell behind by 12 points before the set ended in favor of the Lady Chaps 25-13.
SET 3: TAMIU 24 - LCU 26
The third set saw TAMIU take a 24-20 lead into the final stretch of the match. The Lady Chaps would respond with six straight points to take set 26-24 and the match 3-0.

The Dustdevils return home for the final three games of the regular season. Play at home begins on November 2 with Newman visiting the KCB. The match is set to begin at 7pm.
