LAREDO, Texas (February 3, 2018) - The Texas A&M International University Women's Basketball team hosted the nations second ranked team in the KCB on Saturday afternoon. TAMIU would fall 46-69, moving to 2-20 this season and 0-8 in Heartland Conference action. 

AFTER 1: TAMIU 6 - LCU 19
The Dustdevils would fall behind early in Saturday's game as the Lady Chaps jumped out to an early lead. LCU held the Dustdevil offense to just six points while posting a 19 point quarter, taking a 13 point lead into the second. 

AT THE HALF: TAMIU 25 - LCU 35
The Dustdevils would respond with a 19 point showing of their own. The Lady Chaps would put up 16 points, allowing TAMIU to bring the lead within 10 points at the half. 

AFTER 3: TAMIU 35 - LCU 52
The Lady Chaps would add six points to their lead in the third, putting up 17 points out of the break. The Dustdevils would be unable to trim the lead as the offense was held to just 10 points. 

FINAL: TAMIU 46 - LCU 69
TAMIU would put 11 points in the final quarter but the Lady Chaps would add 17 points to their total, taking the game 69-46.
