LAREDO, Texas (April 26, 2018) - The Texas A&M International University Baseball Team will open play its final four-game series at home in the 2018 regular season. The Dustdevils will host St. Mary's University on Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28.

SCOUTING THE RATTLERS:
The Rattlers enter play at 27-15 overall with an 11-9 mark in Heartland Conference play. StMU split their last Heartland Conference series 2-2 with Arkansas-Fort Smith, taking both of the nine-inning affairs.
Donnie Perez leads the squad with a batting average of .343 this season. Jacob Aguilar has a team-high 38 RBI while Perez leads the team with seven home runs.
On the mound, StMU is led by Fernando Fernandez-Beltran (6-4, 2.38 ERA) and Zach De La Garza (8-2, 2.70 ERA).
THE DUSTDEVILS:
TAMIU enters play after playing the last two weeks on the road. The Dustdevils sit at 12-29 overall and 4-16 in Heartland action.
Mario Ramirez and
Jorge Napoles lead the team at the plate, both batting over .300.
Ricky Gonzalez leads the team in RBI with 23 while
Mathew Trevino is second with 18.
