LAREDO, Texas - Texas A&M International (4-3-1, 3-2-1 HC) scored three times in the second half to down Eastern New Mexico (4-5-1, 2-3-1 HC) in a 4-3 win on Saturday.
ENMU got things going early as Aderi Arthur-Dede scored the game's first goal in the eight minute, with an assist from Gabriel Peres.
Cem Izgec would score the equalizer in the 33rd minute with an assist from Rodrigo Zuniga. However, the Greyhounds answered just over 30 seconds later as Jesus Garcia scored on an assist from Jose Tabares-Ochoa, giving ENMU a 2-1 headed into the half.
In the second half, ENMU's William Sutton knocked in an own goal just under four minutes in to the period to tie things at 2-2.
The Greyhound regained the lead in the 64th minute as Julian Trapp scored on an assist from Arthur-Dede to go up 3-2. However, the Dustdevils would take the game over in the 72nd minute as Rafael Montabes scored the second equalizer of the day to set things at 3-3, with an assist from David Martinez. Just 45 second later, Diego Meda gave TAMIU its first lead at 4-3 on an assist from Elias Perales, sealing the win in the process.
The Dustdevils continue the homestand on Thursday, Oct. 4 as welcome St. Mary's at 7 p.m.
