LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International University women's soccer (1-4-1, 0-1-1 LSC) closes out its three-game road trip against St. Mary's (2-5-0, 0-2-0 LSC) on Thursday, Oct. 3 in San Antonio, Texas.
Last Saturday, TAMIU settled for a 3-3 draw against Angelo State (5-1-1, 1-0-1 LSC). After falling behind 2-0,
Maddison Schofield tallied a pair of goals to knot the game at two apiece. The Perth, Australia native's second goal marked her first career multi-goal match and she has now registered a goal in three of six matches this season for the Dustdevils.
The third and final goal was recorded by
Gracielle Martinez in the 85th minute of play to seal the draw.
Earlier this season, St. Mary's edged the Dustdevils 1-0, however they enter Thursday's matchup on a two-game losing streak by dropping decisions to Angelo State (3-1) and St. Edward's (5-0).
Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
