SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Texas A&M International women's soccer took to the road to face St. Mary's, but in the end, it was the Rattlers coming out victorious, 3-1.

St. Mary's (6-4-1, 3-2-1 LSC) took the lead 9:25 into the contest to take the early 1-0 edge via a penalty kick.

The Dustdevils (1-10-1, 0-6-1) would respond at 32:54, when senior
Tritch Ann Grant scored her second goal of the season to even things 1-1. Assisting Grant on the goal was freshman
Irene Robles.

The Rattlers wasted little time out of the halftime break, scoring ultimately the game-winning goal just 42 seconds into the second half.

St. Mary's would add an insurance goal at 84:16, taking a 3-1 lead and holding that until the final horn.

Leading the Dustdevils in shot attempts was sophomore
Krysan St. Louis who took four during the contest and put two on net. Freshman
Stefanie Petrova followed with three total shots and two on goal. Grant had two shots in the game, as well as sophomore
Sierra Clarke.

Fabiana Solano faced eight shots on the afternoon and stopped five that came to the cage.

TAMIU was outshot in the contest 22-12, but only 8-5 in shots on goal. Corner kicks were even, as both teams had three.

The Dustdevils now return to their home field for three straight games, beginning on Saturday, Oct. 16, when they face Oklahoma Christian. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
