DALLAS, Texas – Texas A&M International men's soccer halted a 0-3-1 skid, defeating DBU 1-0 on Saturday night.

The Dustdevils (3-5-1, 0-0-0 LSC) scored the lone goal of the contest in the first half, when senior
Kristian Colaci netted his eighth goal of the season just 15:48 into the contest.

TAMIU goalkeeper, sophomore Naxto Faus, was perfect in net, stopping all eight shots he faced of the 13 total shots DBU took.

The Dustdevils finished the game with eight total shots, placing five on goal. They also held the edge in corner kicks, 3-1.

Gabriel Gacovicaj both led the team in shots with three a piece, with Colaci putting one on net and Gacovicaj all three.

The Dustdevils look to turn the victory into a streak, when they open Lone Star Conference play next Saturday, Oct. 9 at home against the same DBU team. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
