LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International men's soccer was unable to hold off #7 Midwestern State, as the Mustangs (12-1-0, 4-0-0 LSC) came out of Laredo victorious against the Dustdevils (5-8-1, 2-3-0 LSC) 2-0.

The first half was silent as neither team was able to find any offensive ground, as the game held scoreless over the first 45 minutes.

The second half was all Mustangs, scoring two goals and holding on from there. The first goal came within the first 10 minutes after halftime, at 52:32 and the second goal was scored at 74:01.

Midwestern State held a heavy edge in shots on the night, 15-8, despite shots on goal being very close at 6-5. Corner kicks were in favor of the Dustdevils, 4-3.

Kristian Colaci led TAMIU with three shots on the night and sophomore
Gabriel Gacovicaj followed with two. Kolaci put two of his three shots on the net.

TAMIU now prepares to take to the road, facing Lubbock Christian on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. in Lubbock, Texas.
