LAREDO, Texas – Texas A&M International men's soccer (2-2-1, 2-2-1 LSC) was unable to get the offense rolling and fell to Lubbock Christian (4-1, 3-1 LSC) 1-0 in a hard-fought battle of two teams vying for the LSC regular season crown.

The Chaps scored the lone goal of the contest at 38:07 of the first half off the foot of Pablo Diaz.
 
Each team had three shots in the first half and Lubbock Christian led in corner kicks 3-1.
 
For the game, TAMIU outshot the Chaps 7-6, with both teams having three on net. Corner kicks were in favor of Lubbock Christian, 4-3.
 
Junior Kodai Kobayashi and sophomore Lassana Diakite led the way offensively as both took two shots and each put one of their two on target. Senior Christian Kolaci's lone shot was the only other to reach the net
 
Freshman Naxto Faus played well in goal, stopping two of the three shots he faced. The goal scored by the Chaps ended a stretch of 185:58 since he had allowed a goal.

The Dustdevils will look to rebound from the loss when they travel to Dallas, Texas to face DBU on Friday, March 19. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
