WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Texas A&M International men's soccer (2-3, 0-0 LSC) saw its two-game winning streak snapped at the hands of Westminster, 2-0 in non-conference action on Saturday evening.
The Griffins netted a goal in each half against the Dustdevils, one at the 32:44 mark of the first half and the other at 86:43 of the second half.
TAMIU outshot the Griffins 13-11 in the game and both teams placed four shots on goal. Corner kicks were vastly in favor of the Dustdevils, 9-3.
Senior
Kristian Colaci led the team with five shot and three on goal, while sophomore
Gabriel Gacovicaj added two shots and one on goal.
In net for TAMIU, senior
Nils van der Landen stopped two of the four shots he faced.
The Dustdevils return home Wednesday Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. to face Lone Star Conference foe UT Permian Basin in non-conference action.
